Henna Heritage

Kerry knew she wanted a design inspired by traditional henna artwork when she began searching for the perfect wedding invitations. By working from a sketch she had made, I put together this intricate design using vivid, Bollywood-inspired colors. The single-fold card’s offset overlap meant the design needed to be printed on two sides and appear seamless when closed. The metallic paper band on the inside of the invitation is held together with a seal bearing a floral element pulled from the overall design and secures the insert card, response card and envelope. These finely-detailed components were then hand assembled and tied together, quite literally, with bright orange ribbon to match.
